About This Role

We're looking for a Full-Stack Web Developer to integrate payments, sync calendars, and enhance a short-term rental website.

Our client has a short-term rental OTA website that is built and online but needs enhancement. The project requires integrating payment processing through a merchant services account, synchronizing the calendar system with major OTA platforms to prevent double-bookings, and optimizing visual content with professional photography, videography, and photo editing. A successful outcome is a fully functional, integrated website with synchronized listings across all platforms, working payment processing, and compelling visual content that attracts guests and drives bookings.

Responsibilities

• Integrate a merchant services account to enable payment processing on the website
• Synchronize the calendar system with major OTA platforms to prevent double-bookings
• Optimize and enhance existing visual content through photo editing and professional presentation
• Coordinate or source professional photography and videography additions for the site
• Test all integrations to ensure seamless functionality across platforms
• Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise during implementation

Qualifications

• Proven experience integrating OTA platform APIs and calendar synchronization tools
• Demonstrated expertise setting up payment gateways and merchant services
• Familiarity with popular rental platforms such as Airbnb and Vrbo
• Portfolio showing completed short-term rental or hospitality website projects
• Experience with photo editing and visual content optimization
