Mobile App Developer

About This Role

Giggrabbers is seeking an experienced Mobile App Developer to deliver high-quality iOS and Android applications for our client network. This is a freelance position that spans the full range of mobile development engagements — from zero-to-one startup MVPs to feature expansions on established applications — providing senior developers with meaningful, technically challenging work.

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop iOS and Android applications from initial scoping through to App Store and Play Store submission
• Build cross-platform solutions using React Native or Flutter where appropriate
• Integrate RESTful APIs, push notification systems, in-app purchase flows, and third-party SDKs
• Conduct code reviews, author tests, and uphold clean, maintainable architecture throughout development
• Manage update cycles, bug resolution, and performance optimization post-launch
• Translate client feature requests and product goals into clear technical requirements and delivery timelines

Qualifications

• Published application in the App Store or Google Play — a link to live work is required
• Proficiency in React Native, Flutter, Swift, or Kotlin
• Solid experience with Firebase, REST API integration, and mobile authentication flows
• Thorough understanding of App Store and Google Play submission and review requirements
