About Jan

I am an IT professional by qualification, with nearly 9 years of experience, 4 of which have been in an IT company. I've worked as a developer for a while. Majority of my IT experience was client-facing and pertaining requirements gathering, system transition and implementation at client location.
Subsequently, I joined a manufacturing company as a Project Manager to launch their in-house retail brand. In this role, I've had experience in managing the entire physical and online retail team. I've worked first-hand on getting retail software developed from scratch, organising events, product design, marketing, branding and logistics, among other things. I've been actively involved in developing product strategy, market research, brand strategy and marketing strategy.
I believe I have good communication and writing skills. I've written several blogs and articles for my company, in addition to managing our social media pages. Writing is something I've enjoyed doing since school, when I used to be an editor for the school magazine.
I'm also a Blockchain enthusiast, and have been learning more about its practical applications. I attended a started program for Blockchain at the Kerala Blockchain Academy.
