I am a full-time professional data scientist with expertise in web scraping, data mining, email harvesting and other business intelligence collection. Specializing in creating custom scraping bots for very specific requirements, I can compile them with limitless scale, scope and complexity resulting in the ability to turn the internet's raw information into efficient and effective data and analytics.

I provide my services to clients ranging from individuals with basic single-website scraping needs to agencies and companies with comprehensive data aggregation specs. These more advanced jobs often require the access and extraction of hundreds of thousands of pages with millions of http requests, javascript manipulation and automated, systematic, scheduled large-scale parsing.

In order to manage the anti-scraping efforts of web providers, I employ a full suite of tools including extensive dedicated proxies, a large selection of rotating high-quality IPs, captcha-solving mechanisms and custom javascript. I specialize in the development and use of Dexi.io extractors, crawlers, autobots and pipes, ScapeBox harvesting engines and Data-Miner.io browser tools. Using these tools, data can be scraped and extracted as text, links, emails, files, images, sets, lists, attributes and many other formats.

Once data has been scraped or mined, it often needs to be validated, cleaned, refined, formatted and organized to which I utilize a host of advanced VBA/Macro functions and scripts to produce desired data in almost any format from CSV to Excel and XML.

I've executed successful scraping against a bevy of popular sources including LinkedIn.com, Yelp.com, Google.com, Facebook.com, Manta.com, Booking.com, Expedia.com and hundreds of other large and small websites, directories, and listings.

When I left the world of business development and strategy at JPMorgan 3 years ago, I embarked on a commercial data scraping project aimed at a growing sector of the gig economy that has yet to be targeted and optimized by data and analysis.

I have 17 years of work experience in fields as varied as web design, business development, wealth management and business administration which have given me the breadth of knowledge and skills to become adept at problem-solving in almost any industry.
