About William
For a long time, I have been fascinated by the Web 2.0 and the many platforms for social media popular among people in all walks of life. I am also very curious about new developments dealing with new media. The major I found in Information Science and eSociety has allowed me to pursue my interests and broaden my knowledge and skills. Among these skills are collaboration, team-work, organization, time management, social media strategy, and writing and effective communication. My coursework has covered a wide range of topics, including social media strategies, e-commerce, digital law, digital discourse, digital storytelling, new media theory, quantitative and qualitative analysis, and webpage development. My minor in Sociology with an emphasis in Sports Sociology has given me a background in applying sociological theory to information sciences.
