About Ray

Ray Litchmore was born on the island of Jamaica. Born into a musical family, it was innate for him to inherit the gift, love, and passion for music. His father was a bass player, and mother a singer in their local church; so for Ray it was only a matter of time before fate took its course in the musical aspect of his life. This musical background made it easy to demonstrate the musical skills Ray now displays. At the tender age of 2, he naturally gravitated to the piano, where playing and experimenting with various sounds, became an early niche. In 2001, Ray and his family migrated from Jamaica, to the United States of America, in search of a more feasible life. Little did he realize that this was the beginning to the evolution of his career, and path in life.
In an effort to continue to build his career, and expand his knowledge for music, Ray has been actively involved in various projects over the last several years. He is the founder and CEO of his own recording label, Keynote Records. In addition, he has recorded organ and auxiliary keys on the album "I Will Worship (Live in NYC)" by Kayode & Friends (2011). He has arranged piano parts for the single "Just Believe" by Staci Pompey (2012), and for the album "Worth the Wait" by Marlin Croasdaile & Triumphant (2013).
Ray has performed with artists such as Canton Jones, Marlon Croasdale & Triumphant, and Kayode Akojenu. More recently, he has played in the accompanying band for Gospel artist Richie Righteous, Pastor Donnie McClurkin, at New York Call 2013; as well as Bishop Hezekiah Walker in at Restoration Temple Assembly of God in Brooklyn 2014. He has traveled locally and internationally as a part of missionary outreaches, where he gave his support musically. He has also functioned as Musical Director for bands on stages at McDonalds Gospel Fest at the Prudential Center (2010 & 2011), Battlecry at the Izod Center (2012) , and for television recordings of "15th Street Live "at TBN Studios for Richie Righteous (2011), and Jeanie Ortega (2012). It is his overall desire, to take his outlook of music and spread it worldwide, continuing to offer to all nations, the gift of music.
