A self taught Graphic Designer and an entrepreneurial spirit led to creating logos and art designs first for my own independent record label. This later developed into starting a graphic design company to cater to other record labels and music companies early on. Having a successful niche in the music industry was one level that was achieved, so looking for the next level to expand in graphic design came when I was first offered freelance work for a children’s apparel company. Working on boys licensed product was a welcomed change and that became a full time job as a Graphic / Layout Designer & Production Coordinator at Happy Kids Inc., working on various brands: Yugioh, Batman, Superman, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Pokemon, Captain America, Transformers, Sonic X, Scooby Doo, Mijos. A liaison to licensors, sales staff and working closely with the apparel designers and leading the art direction & production art process helped to establish a 25 plus year experience in Graphic Design.
