Hello and thank you for taking the time to read my profile. Clear communication is critical when building strong and lasting relationships. It is my job as the freelancer to first discuss with the client his or her full expectations in order to properly capture his or her vision. My sharp attention to detail, desire to perfect, and ability to work under a deadline make me a business contact you can count on.
I received a liberal arts education at Linfield College and achieved a bachelor’s degree in creative writing. During my senior year of college I traveled to Beijing, Tibet, and Luoyang in China via a political philosophy study abroad program. For three years I was the Editor-in-Chief of the Linfield Literary Arts Journal, Camas. I was also the President of the Literary Arts Club, LiLAC. My poetry was printed in two separate publications of the Journal of Modern Poetry.
I am well versed in business related graphic design. I have built and maintained social media and online sales profiles for multiple small businesses. I also have a deep passion for photography and gained Adobe CS5 Photoshop skills at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Other personal interests include: playing with my dogs, baking and tasting sweet treats, crafting hair accessories and jewelry, reading Mary Oliver’s poetry, and exploring stunning new sights. Service Description
Proofreading: the last step before submitting or publishing the finished product. Consists of revising spelling, grammar, punctuation, syntax, and formatting.
Editing: involves the same revisions as proofreading (see above) as well as necessary re-writing. Think of this as tidying up your kitchen. I will polish your article, blog, website, etc. so it comes out looking squeaky clean and refreshed.
Writing: I will write the content completely from scratch and will do any necessary research required.
Payment Description
All jobs that I accept will start at $25 per hour unless we agree on a fixed price. I will never accept less than $25 per hour.
