About This Role

We're looking for a pregnancy announcement photographer to capture intimate family moments across outdoor locations in New Jersey this October.

Our client is expecting and wants to celebrate with a professional mini session featuring their family of three across multiple meaningful locations including their home, beach, and wooded areas. The shoot should blend lifestyle photography with specific reveal details like a sonogram and letterboard, all captured during golden hour. A successful outcome will deliver polished, editorial-style images that feel both technically precise and authentically timeless.

Responsibilities

• Scout and photograph the family across home, beach, and wooded locations during golden hour
• Capture both candid family moments and styled detail shots of the sonogram and letterboard reveal
• Direct the family to create natural, intimate poses that showcase their connection and joy
• Manage lighting and exposure to maximize golden-hour conditions across varying outdoor environments
• Deliver post-processed images with an editorial, polished aesthetic that feels timeless and authentic
• Provide a curated final gallery of images within the agreed timeframe

Qualifications

• Portfolio demonstrating at least one completed pregnancy announcement or couples session
• Proven mastery of golden-hour lighting and outdoor photography in varied settings
• Experience with lifestyle and detail-focused photography that captures authentic family moments
• Strong technical skills in exposure, composition, and color grading
• Demonstrated ability to deliver polished, editorial-style post-processing
